Marshall pedals!

Hey Guys,
was looking at some marshall pedals for overdrive or distortion. I am not sure which one is better the Guv'Nor , Jackhammer or the bluesbreaker? could someone tell me which is the more suitable pedal? i would go more of distortion sounds! thanks!

I like the bluesbreaker, for heavy overdrive like distortion.

Jackhammer is teh metale....

So the Jackhammer is alot on Metal? and the blues breaker will be a more Distortion like pedal? And the Guv nor is verstilie in what way? haha like to play loads of punk rock or rock.

Hmm.

I personally own the Guvnor2 and it's been my main overdrive for the past 2-3 years. I play a wide variety of rock but I use this pedal mainly for Led Zeppelin, AC/DC and other classic rock kind of bands. Other drives I use are a Keeley BD-2 and an MIJ DS-1 silver screw. Compared to these two I can match the EQ of the overdrive sound because the pedal has a very useful 4-band EQ (inclusive of the deep knob).

hmmm... its hard to give you a definite answer cos there's no better or worst. which one you like?

I'd say the guvnor got more EQ tweaking options but that may confuse a beginner. Bluesbreaker is not as "hard" as the Guvnor but good enough for me.

But you don't wanna know that. You wanna know which one is good or not and which one should you buy... :mrgreen:

I'd say, Guvnor for teh punk rock. Good luck and don't blame me if it sucks.
