Marshall or Hughes & Kettner

DSL 401 has ok clean, of course can’t compare with Fender but H & K is cleaner in my opinion. You can get the classic rock tone instantly from DSL but for metal I am not too sure how much gain you need. The most flexible tube amp, everyone wants Fender clean, British crush and brutal metal distortion, is Randall modular tube amps but they are not cheap.

Talking prices is no use. They like high prices. Makes their brand look good. You need to impress on them the DIFFICULTY of obtaining their products, and the potential loss of sales that might make them change their minds.

Malaysia has no consumer tax. Especially if they file that item for export. The only tax you need to worry about is our 7%GST.

The Triamp doesn't cost SGD9500
I know the Alex Lifeson model cost about SG$6k MAX.

I saw 1 Alex Lifeson on eBay. But seller wont ship to SG....

Well, gotta hang on to see whether my friend's friend is letting go his MKI or not. haiz..........
 
Fair enough.......hmmmm... i was wondering if you're willing to let go the MKI to me because i love that amp.

I am not sure if I would wanna sell it. I have no reason to sell it for the time being :p
sorry. But do look out on ebay. You should be able to find one pretty good price MK I :)
