yeap 99% of all football fans will be extremely happy. i called a mate when the penalty was given and the background, can hear the whole household shouting "goal lah!"

*this family doesn't even support chelsea*.. :D

weee goo chelsea gooo!

Utterly TASTELESS thing to say! I hope you reedit that crap!

tasteless? it's my respect for CHELSEA who dedicated their game to the bereavement of a team member. this is football- you play for a cause.

i don't support chelsea. i don't support MU either. good football is for everyone to enjoy.

the season has seen no champion yet. there are still 2 more games left.

someone's mum in the MU team should have passed away for inspiration (no disrespect to mothers, of course...), there was simply no hunger to kill chelsea off once the score was levelled.

apparently frank lampard's mum died days before the match.. thats why he didn play.

jus thot you guys ought to know.

To show your respect for Chelsea's win, you go on to wish that one of ManUtd's player's mother had also died?

Your words were not only tasteless but bordering on being sick. Wishing death onto someone isn't a cool thing to do. It has nothing to do with football and as has been said even before and then after Pat Lampard's death, that some things are more important than football.

Your words not only struck a sick chord but also served to trivialize Pat Lampard's death.

If you want to stand by those words of yours then that is certainly your prerogative. I too will stand by mine.

Cheers

look at it this way guys..
IF

Man u drops even a single point in any of their last few matches

AND

Chelski win all of theirs

THE BPL WILL BE GOING TO STAMMFORD BRIDGE .. not to OT

HELL FRICKIN YEAH MAN!!!!!!!!!!!

Adding on to FGL's post..If both MU and Chelsea looses their two remaining games and Arsenal wins all three..guess where the BPL title goes to:mrgreen:
Well, no harm in dreaming :)

why come onto a man utd thread to hope that other teams will win? can do that on e general football thread right? aiya nvm let the football over the next couple of weeks do the talking lah. pardon the edginess, i'm just really tired.

Haha..well, the comment was made in jest and good fun :) Didn't mean to offend anyone. Being an Arsenal fan thru and thru myself, I don't realistically foresee what I've predicted happening...If it does, then that's a bonus;) Anyway, I had been up studying for my exams all night and just wanted to let off some steam, didn't really know that only posts predicting man U wins are welcome in the thread. Well, I apologize if I have offended anyone:???: Guess it's best if this is my last post here then since my very first post out of the buy/sell forum was deemed insensitive/offensive :)
Signing out, Cheers!

if you read my entry in context, it's not a wish, but an expression of frustration bordering on sarcasm rather than being sick. some people get it, some don't, some people got carried away.

it's heartening to see the Chelsea players raise Lampard's jersey with Pat's name on it after they scored. that's all there is to it, trivializing someone's death wasn't on my agenda, it's part of a misinterpretation.

i'm not standing by any prerogative, it's a selfish assertion.

a timely reminder. we sometimes are too preoccupied with the top 2 to remember what would happen should the above possibility materialize... 8-)

on another note, could we say that MU was a victim of a rotten penalty decision last weekend?

what about that fist fight at the end of the match between man u reserves & checlski????

hooligans lah ....

quite severe- they are looking at the CCTV recording for references...

despite it showing fist fights between the 2 teams, it could also be a misinterpretation of people going wild over kelong money- who knows right? there's no sound to it anyway, just a recording of actions...

Let's move on.

i'm not one to hold things in contention, especially in this faceless realm of the internet... not worth it.

interesting to see what MU can conjure against Barca, the thing that they must learn to do in critical games is to score first.

hahaha bro fgl

very very strong anti Man Utd sentiments so far...
to use your quote "ZIP IT"...hehehehe

joking bro.. :)

well last sat Man Utd sucks...really sucks..I've lost some $..was expecting a draw
they have been playing a patient soak and strike strategy in the last few games

I am wondering if Queiroz have a say in team tactics..I have been following Fergie's style all this years and it is so unlike him to adopt such a strategy.
