someone's mum in the MU team should have passed away for inspiration (no disrespect to mothers, of course...), there was simply no hunger to kill chelsea off once the score was levelled.

but after ballack scored the penalty , that few mins was damn scary. i was sweating and waiting for the final whistle. entertaining match . and plus point that we won.
good game .

yup. in recent games they've been total shits. well, brilliant end to the season for the neutrals. right down to the wire.

oh well, no point harping over this. move on. chelsea - man utd UCL final! Man utd to prevail this time round!

the only way chelsea can win the title is to score 17 goals in their final two games. (:

Man Utd's Ferdinand favourite for England captaincy
tribalfootball.com - April 25, 2008

Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand is firming as favourite to be named permanent England captain.

Ferdinand hugely impressed Fabio Capello when he led England for the first time in last month's friendly against France.

The defender said: "Being captain for England was great - likewise being skipper at Manchester United is fantastic.

"Whenever I pull on that armband it is a proud moment for me and my family because of the long line of illustrious people who have worn it before me."

Capello will name his captain in time for England's August 20 friendly with the Czech Republic.

But the Italian said: "I will choose based on attitude on the pitch and behaviour off the field as well.

"A captain must be a leader. He must lead by example and drag the team forward."

look at it this way guys..
IF

Man u drops even a single point in any of their last few matches

AND

Chelski win all of theirs

THE BPL WILL BE GOING TO STAMMFORD BRIDGE .. not to OT

HELL FRICKIN YEAH MAN!!!!!!!!!!!

Last night was the first time in a long, long time that I wathed a non Arsenal match! Must say I throughly enjoyed the game. Such high passion & drama (Drama mamas too in ronaldo & drogba). Fight at the end (no thanks to that hooligan Obi Mikel & naive Ferdinand), fights among chelski show ponies Ballack & drogba over who shud take the free kick BUT best of all for me was seeing the winning penalty go in ..

NOW THINGS ARE WIDE OPEN, AGAIN !

what happened Man United?? is the title slipping out of your hands?tsk tsk
a stupid mistake by Carvalho led Man U to a goal, but they failed to win it....i`ts gonna be very exciting from here on:)

not surprising for Manu to lost the game ..

after watching the Barcelona game i just thought that MAn u already lost their confidence ...furthermore without Vidic ..hehe its expected ...

but ..we shall see...Chelsea also ..unpredictable at times ...

i find it strange that Alex now appear to be calm at the dugout ..
may be he already knows the outcome ....:)

You have to understand, there's the mentality that once it goes down to the wire, and your team loses, this always comes to mind: " If I don't get it, you sure hell better not. "
