looking for an amp for home use..

hey..

my current amp is spoiling -- there's this strange buzzing noise that wasn't there before and the od channel is totally whacked. luckily i use pedals for dist.

I'm looking for something with at least a 10" inch speaker, and preferably an fx loop, with a .. clean clean channel(=D). no need for fx cause i use pedals.. budget is $300(windfall =D), but can probably overspend.. a bit.

i was looking at the Kustom 30RC at first actually, at esden, but it sounds damn teeny.. not sure if it's the amp or the guitar there. any thoughts?

LOL...This really cracked me up.

As for your query, you might wanna look at the Roland Cube 30. Pretty impressive practice amp. I do not really know if it fits your criteria but it sounds better than the Kustom in my opinion,

The Kustom 30R sounds teeny? I thought it was quite big sounding, did you turn it up a little?

That kustom has very very warm cleans, nice for pedals... can't vouch for its reliability though!

My Kustom 12A sure sound loud & fat to me... Considering its size and its 8 or 10 watts :P

Its 12 watts with an 8" speaker...

Its a nice little amp actually... if one can get past the dodgy hybrid tube ideology...
