Its' cause of the these F***in people that music in singapore can never
progress beyong what now.
They always think that everything else thats coming out from their house is noise.

let me share a personal experience.

There was this function these chinese family had at my void deck.
i think it was a bdae party.
the damm time was 11pm already and yet chinese jiwang was blasting away, and some techno shit too.
what i did? since i live on the 3rd floor.
i blasted some avenged sevenfold. and you can see them looking up at your house.
such a sense of accomplishment.
it was hell that evening.

it's just this simple, no doubt you'll have to pad your drums alot to make minimal noise until he stops complaining, or slowly you'll be able to save up for a set of those traveller drums or the ones with the wiremesh that makes no noise.. but the next time let him have his own taste of medicine if he makes any noise, go straight to him and say "please practise what you preach. keep it down."

look on the bright side, he didn't make your life hard, he just made his. you're a guy with a passion and he's a typical singaporean without a dream. it's all cool.
