Hey Guys,
I ram and rumbled and I saw some really nice looking guitar bags at :

Was wondering if any of you lads ever bought these line of bags?
I tried emailing them but they didn't reply my mail.. thinking of gettng one for my LP & Dot... (heheh.. think, buying bags online shouldn't be as bad experience as the guitar bah... hahahha)

Anyway, anyone out there who had gotten these bags to share abit of your experiences?

Looks pretty damn classy, Davis is the local dealer for Levys.

But as far as functionality and comfort, go get a Ritter bag. :)

Really? Shit! I'm gonna check it out!! Thanks bro!

I don't carry it around very much and I find Ritter is abit too bulky and 'trendy looking' .. hahah.. I'm old man lah.. carry that one is like an old man wearing 77th Street kinda skatewear in Far East Plaza.. hhehehhe... :P

Yeah but the stock is pretty limited and their prices are high as well.

Better call them rather than head down in dissapointment ;)

I actually kinda expected that these ranges would probably more then a hundred bucks.. I hope they are the authorised dealer cos then, it'll be easier to order from them. Davis are actually more of a parrallel importor for most products and that's why their 'special orders' usually takes a long time.
But you are right, I should call them and check out first.

Need to see the padding inside before I'd label them good bags. :) But they are nice eye candy.

I don't think they've got great paddings in it. I like them cos they got the really old skool look, just like how Boon's Studio used to sell them 15 over years ago.. hahah.. Only that Levy's looks more classy.

Dude if you're looking for a damn kick ass bag may I suggest these 2 brands.

For Leather Classiness...

Reunion Blues Gig Bags are the way to go.

For more functionality and cutting edge design...

http://www.incasemusic.com/

I want an Incase bag so bad man.

Reunion blues are awesome bags, really fine leather and great attention to detail. Think of it as Gucci, LV for guitars. However I can only imagine something like a classic guitar coming out of one, like a Strat or an LP.

Incase bags...I'll let the site speak for itself :)

I can think of a Samick coming out of a Reunion Blues bag. :P That would be so overkill!

But yeah, if the padding ain't there... I don't see how putting in a 3k guitar would amount to being sensible.

Holy Cow. The Reunion Bag does looks good. But they don't have a 'two tone' binding like the Levys though. heheh. hmm.. definitely still worth considering.

As for the Incase Bags, it looks abit too classy for me. It's canvas yeah?
But the designs looks like it's got a good uphold on the guitar. Tight and compact! Have you tried ordering it?

hahhah.. aiya, these bags are for glamourous looks...
I've got my own hardcases to store it well should I have to go outta this island for any gigs.
I'm actually still using the old skool bag that I got from Boon's Studio ages ago for my LP Classic but I have to take extra care that I don't drop the guitar.. hahaha. if it does, :P then I'll accept it as my 'Fate for Vanity'. heheheh

I don't think it's canvas, nylon more likely. Check out the website and take a look around with regards to the functionality of the bag. Very well thought out designs, in terms of comfort, carrying options, layers of protection with special considerations to the "danger" more fragile portions of the guitar.

Super, they've probably thought of everything!

The Reunion blues case would probably cost more than a samick. :)

Sorry man, I have no real life experience with it though, my recommendations come from word of mouth and a general consensus which I have come across so far online.

Hard to find a Good quality case here in Singapore though.
