Hi there people. Is there anyone who is kind enough to share his review of Korg's AX3000G. Cause the last time i summited my request some of the softies here thinks its funny. Sorry had to comment on that. Thanks for any reviews received.

bro ah, errr city music has them leh. Best you hear for yourself? its not like this pedal not available locally ya? After all you might not like what we like :D

come on la u posted in the wrong forum previously.it can get quite annoying when it happens so many times. so why not laugh it off rite? :) anyway, yeah u shld try it out urself. my fren did a recording of his with the ax3000g and let me hear it(a metal song), i don't find the sound THAT impressive but perhaps with a little tweaking u can get some great sounds.

Thank you

Well yeah i'll laugh it off. Didn't realize it was in the wrong forum. Got mad cause you guys didn't take me seriously..... well ok than thanx sofyan for your comments appreciate it a lot.

Ok, this is what I heard from my friend in HK that just sold his AX3000G..

His reason for selling is getting something better, which he eyed for the Vox tonelab SE.

Ax3000G is not something that sucks, people with higher demands will think it is a little 'digital' ( But well multieffects have the same critics.. )

If you willing to pay something more, get a Boss GT6.

But if you can't, the AX3000G can be something good to play around with.

not quite 'better'. the GT8 has very convincing amp/ cab simulations & i find the touch-sensitive switching system quite practical. i'm not usually one to promote multi FX but the GT8 is a worthy investment for good tones.

Umm just to contribute...a GT8 IS BETTER....

orite orite I get the whole idea of personal opinion...but it is....

A demo at a shop will do nothing for you...if u really want to find out what a multi effector can do....you must go to someone who has been using it for a while....

the demo I heard at Sweelee convinced me to buy the GT-8 but if i knew what all it was capable of then, I would say the demo didnt do it justice...the GT-8 trulyrequires teh most tweaking that I have seen for any multi effector...thank god for
www.bossgtcentral.com

ps. do hear the demo through an FRFR amp...do a search for gt-8 to see more about it...

After having said all this...I am going all analog soon :D

this is the reason why everyone here should make an effort to attend product clinics as & when they're made available. the recent Roland clinic has the GT8 on show, the clinician fully demonstrated the product capacity & it's an eye-opener to say the least.

Hehe yea Sub...I heard the clinic was awesome...

I didnt come because I was pissed off with Roland in general...Roland had released official patches on their website designed by the GT-8 'guru'....

the patches were CRAP :D ..unusable....they were better than the default patches..but that doesnt say anything.....

But I hear the demo at the Roland Clinic did help out a lot of players...

kudos

with any of these patches, we'd know better than to rely on them entirely. anyway, do not be put off by this in light of how good the GT8 is.

Haha Sub..U misunderstand me...my whole point was only to say that Roland does not show well enough how good the GT-8 is....

ps.wouldnt rely on the patches from Roland if I was forced to
