Klusons or Grovers?

Grovers now come on Gibson LPs, but i was doing some research and found that the 1959 LP Standards and the '58 Historic Figuretop LPs came with Klusons!

In your opinions, which machine head tuners are better?

Anyone had personal experiences with both?

both are just as good.
but of cos kluson green keys gives you the vintage look.
which is why in 2002/03, gibson LPs made the switch back to green keys from grovers along with some other changes, to maintain the vintage look.
if not mistaken, grovers only lasted on LPs from around 96 to 2002/03.
so grovers do not come on gibson LPs anymore, yes that includes the Standard and Faded :P

but actually i checked with swee lee and they said that gibsons are still using grovers on LPs...its just that they use the green key versions of the grover tuners :?

and i saw some guy on a post somewhere (forgot where) mention that his LP had grovers rather than klusons and listed that as a 'plus' point when selling his LP

i personally have klusons on my LP as mine is a 95 model...and i have to admit they still do go slightly out of tune after a handful of songs, so was just wondering if making a change to grover green keys would be worth it?

In general Grovers are heavier but sealed and works better than Klusons.

The only time I'll use Klusons is when weight savings are required.
