Juz got my epiphone les paul

haha.....mine also has a QC sticker.....but knowing china.....their products here and there are all fake......the korean wood quality is significantly better but only the les paul customs are made in korea.....and i don't fancy having that and wearing a catsuit doing falsettos........

the pickguard looks good on certain finishings like the vintage sunburst......that's IMHO :)

yup........ :) ........actually slash uses an ebony gibson classic with the pickguard on and it looks good......maybe that's because slash is using it...... ......but joe perry of aerosmith also uses an gibson class ebony with the pickguard on........seems like for those plain guitars it's best to keep the pickguard to give it a slight different look....

I'm quite happy with the stock pickups, dont intend to change it at least for the moment. Maybe you could do minor adjustments like raising the individual pole pieces, or raising the height of the pickups. The pickup selector will get problematic quite soon, typical epiphone les paul problem.... just get it replaced, and it'll be fine.

btw ebony= black?

i heard that the pickup selector switch gives a lot of problems........i've made quite a bit of adjustments......just get the right output from the pickups and it seems to me the clarity is a bit out......

yeah ebony is black. I guess on monday i make a strip to bras basar to take a look at those hardcases. Do the branch over there sell it? or muz i make my way over to sim drives? where else sell hardcase? davis? dun think i see any there. Luther maybe but not sure whether my lp can fit in

bras basar and sim drives both have if i'm not mistaken......davis used to sell the hardcase together with the les pauls......they don't bring in anymore epiphone........they only bring in tokai and i don't think tokai comes with hardcase........

why not. i got mine for cheaper

had one a long tyme back....my advise...upgrade pick ups (Di Marzios or SDs) - output jack (ernie ball) and tuner (Schaller)...

with proper set ...could be a more than adequate replacement for Gibson Les Paul...

hmm tried out the sound, not really impressing, infact kinda dissapointed -_- but the susstain is really good, most probably cos my previous guitar was crap, tat why it makes a great difference  played gnr "dont cry", can really hear the hell difference between a strato copy and lp copy

no i dun mean that, i mean there are earlier epiphone les paul std with printed gibson.

you confuse me man!

If the truss rod cover that you mean, you can always purchase the replacement anytime. Won't cost you that much :D Try Davis, they might have it. Or else, you can grab one from ebay.

I thought you want it printed as GIBSON instead EPIPHONE on the HEADSTOCK.

haha i'm a big fan of the les paul guitar too...got a vintage sunburst one at home...have to agree that the neck join and finish is great!..not light wat others said...well a piece of advice change the pick up and the tuning pegs(mine after 2 years keep getting out of tune already...) haha..cheers les paul rocks!
