Jade Seah swears on National TV

Jade Seah's not exactly eye candy.

In fact, I think the casting director needs to be given the sack.

And maybe the producer too.

But Singapore television has never had fantastic broadcast/production quality anyway.

At least not for the English language stations.

Not with Singaporeans, who are fiercely proud of their 'heritage and culture', and slams every Ang Moh wannabe newscaster/radio DJ who sometimes even have just a neutral accent, but makes the effort to sound professional by enunciating properly, around.

nuh uh she's pretty good-looking dude, albeit the forehead
broadcasting and programming quality pretty much sucks because there's never been any decent competition around

Hehehe.. maybe because she's not my type.

I think she has that scowling, devil baby look.

Like her upturned V shaped lips (you'll notice it more in situations like this when she's not smiling but talking, or just not smiling) with her high arched eyebrows.

She's a looker in still photos when she's smiling but when she's yakkety yakking, she's not that pretty IMHO.

Either that or I'm just being overly-critical.

Actually, it's not THAT obvious. At least she didn't exclaim it out loud like "Oh, FARRRKK!!!"

I think the issue has been blown out of proportion by haters. There are obviously alot more things that are more appalling happening in this olympic.

As what I've thought too.

honestly, i think no one really cares abt it. children these days swear like mad. my friends 5 yr old SISTER scolded me that when i pat her head and i personally started using this word when i was 7. so either, the kids are too young to even understand it, or they alrdy know it. so, no one really cares

It really gets irritating when things like this get so much attention. Just let it go. It happened, yeah it did, treat it like static.

everyone is like that nowadays la, i remembered jade seah over at my friend's place when we were playing mahjong during chinese new year, it was just a slip of a tongue at the wrong time and place.

I find that people tend to judge whether a person is a good person or a bad person by the language he/she uses. I mean, what if there's a person who is filial to his/her parents, loved by his/her colleagues, etc and just happens to use vulgarities here and there, as compared to a nerd-like guy who tortures and kills animals (and perhaps children) for the fun of it?

C'mon, general public, just because someone uses vulgarities doesn't mean that person is evil or bad or anything. Personally I don't see anything wrong with the f-word. I only get cheesed off when innocent, uninvolved parties are involved (e.g. parents). Because from my experience, youngsters tend to shoot really nasty stuff out of their mouth at their enemies, which directly insult parents, siblings, relatives and even God.

So yeah. In my opinion, its not the word that's bad. Its how its used.

aww come on we swear all the time.
i swear all the time
im not shocked bout it..

its just a little cute cuz its the first time i heard the 'f' word on local tv =D

lovelovelovelove what's the big deal about saying lovelovelovelove anyway
lovelovelovelove lovelovelovelove lovelovelovelove lovelovelovelove lovelovelovelove lovelovelovelove!
