hi when u ppl record right, there's some kind of connection for ur cable to comp right? where can i get them and how much?

and also what u guys use to do backing tracks? thx!

you mean to convert from bigger jack to small one? any shop that carry electronic part will have it, I guess. I bought mine at sim lim, about $5 bucks (max), can't remember. Of course, if that what you mean

you have to get either a mono to mono, or mono to stereo. Look at the black bands at the steel part to idenitify what it is. Converters cost no more than 10 dollars.

oh buy mono to mono or mono to stereo?

and also how to create backing tracks? like dhalif, shredcow those kind of songs they post

if your card have a stereo config, thn go for stereo... btw, what jack are you talking about? xlr? 1/4"? 1/10"?

i dunno nuts about hardware...

i want the sort of connector from ur amp to the computer so u can record, about size, i dunno!

ok... i presume you are going to record your guit into your com. check whether your amp is able to use 1/10" jacks (the kind you use for your earphones). if not you need to get a converter from 1/4" (the guitar cables) to 1/10" (earphone). and to differ stereo and mono, on the jacks, if you see 2 black bands on it, it is most probably stereo, and if it is just one, most probably mono. :)

ok mine's the 1/10" size. so i get the connector and plug it to which part of comp? thx again for helping...

ok i bought it liao, plugged from my amp's headphone to the mic port of the comp...but no sound! cant record!!! i'm using audacity...
