It's Official... The David Gilmour Strat

It's finally here, and thank god, it's not in one of those ridiculously expensive "Blackie" or Frankenstrat guises... I think this is a bit mre affordable... It's a CS line.:mrgreen:
Hmm... I wonder who would buy this though...

Heard about it couple of days back. However, according to the man himself, it was just an ordinary strat. unless you're an avid fan or collector, might as well save money and get a non-sig strat. oh well, more money for Fender :/

I told Fender that it was just an ordinary Strat that I bought, but I must say they’ve done a great job of recreating it.

Other than the all black body, the only thing noticeable is the ultra short whammy bar.

For me, I dont think its feasible to pay USD$4999 for a signature strat like that. Well, you can build your own "Gilmour" strat for way less.
