u can add or subtract a person's reputation. see at the top right hand corner of any post, there is a weighing balance icon. click. disapprove is subtracting his/her point, i think, i myself have never tried before. approve is add. remember that approve the person at his/her post, not anyone else's.

what i think the power is determined by:
duration of membership
number of post
activeness of membership
or can the admin set?
if admin can set, james would be able to increase the power of ppl who
has volunteered for events, or donated.
