Is this a worn knife edge problem?

my bridge is a lo trs trem. i was playing just now while bending on the 2nd string, the string slipped from the bridge. is this a sign of a worn knife edge? or could it be other issues? i use a 10-52 guage strings, downtuned whole step. i've been using and abusing the guitar for 5 years already i think.
