Lets say i had a good deal and bought a 2nd hand fender strat that's worth 1k.
1) If i dun like the colour, is it advisable to get it repainted?
2) Where do i get it done,
3) How much will it likely cost?

keep in mind that refinishing a guitar would devalue its current worth, especially for a brand name like 'Fender'.

Think your best bet really is to sell off the guitar and get one in a colour you like... Otherwise the value will drop, like what sub mentioned.

However if you would prefer to have it repainted, I believe Guitar Connection (at Excelsior Shopping Centre) might be able to take it on, but expect to pay more than $200 for that - best to talk to them to get an exact quote.

Depending on how much you paid for the guitar. But overall, in terms of value wise, it's not going to be worth it as a good paint job will cost u a few hundred (at least $200)..

But if you feel that the guitar suits you alot, aside from the paint work, why not? As long as you like the guitar, any price that you pay for it will be worth it.
