yea this is true. itry not to be late when we go jamming and i try to learn the songs at least 3 days in advance.
seriously there's a reason for his behavior. he probably thinks the songs you guys play are too difficult and didn't wanna show up cos you guys might think he's not a good drummer just because he cant play the songs that you guys play. not all songs are easy you know. some songs are easy for the guitars but it may be hell for the drummers. i've experienced it. my band tried to play 'everlong' by foo fighters. i couldnt play but i tried my best. that was like, early last year.
Krist was questioning me as to me playing out other bands. this is with regards to
evilshit if i remember correctly. evilshit is a member of assault militants if i remember correctly. they were looking for a guitarist to replace their lead guitarist as he was leaving the band. i expressed my interest but did not make any committment as they were inviting me down to watch them jam before i decided if i wanted to join them. i did not turn up to watch them as i was busy and also, i'd rather have a guitar ready for an audition if i do go down to watch.
does that count as standing them up Krist? ask them, they can vouch for it.

yea, in the time i worked with razrash he was always early. Except for the first jam.

For my band its my vocalist who's mysteriously disappeared. But he's a very busy guy so I'm trying to be understanding.
I'm a drummer myself and I always make it a point to be early. I also respond to SMSs and calls very often, in fact most of the time as soon as I receive it. Other drummers I know are also like that. My band's drummer is also very reliable.
My conclusion: there is no basis to say even most drummers are like that. From my point of view, ANYONE can be like that.
Stop all this generalizing shit before someone gets pissed off.
