Caught snippets of this series here and there, as it's rock & roll music, I like.
Wow, the contestants practically all got really good stuffs there. Makes you wonder, if there are so many talented people out there, why have only one winner.
I guess a lot of people are rootin for Mig, but he really got done in by the "Bohemian Rapsody". There was the only one Freddie Mercury, who could have done the song justice, but he's gone now.
Good for the winner JD, got the right stuffs, only thing that irks me is the way he kisses the 'house band' male guitarist cheek during the semi final. Is it just me???
Really clever of INXS to make a comeback this way. What a surprise. Their music do hold a place in me, got feel. Too bad about what happened to their leadman before.

As a former INXS fan, I hope the band fails with their new album, the guitarists fingers are broken and burnt so he can no longer play, this new singer drinks acid and burns his vocal chords, or they give up on the thing while they can.
bastards cashing in on a dead guy, a hero to Australia and here they are using his death as a means of making money.
total disrepect to INXS. I mean if they changed the band name and sung their own songs and not inxs songs, i wouldnt care, but INXS has a history in Australia, and to have some random singer from another country, replace such a big person in our culture just doesnt seem to fit.

i didn't watch the show, but from the pieces that i caught, my impression was that it was another american idol, except with 1 backing band, and instead of mainly the genre of pop, is rock instead
Wow nitrovo, very strong words. I can somewhat understand. No one can replace the essence of what was the original. They did fill a void in a music culture of that era, very unique and original, plenty of feel.
Only time will tell, if the new lineup can deliver. It's being quite a long haitus since we heard anything major for this band. I guess they hit a breakthru with the current 'reality' craze, though I don't find any honest reality anyway.
Either this show could harrold their comeback in a big way or fizzle out like a climax. We shall see anyway ok?? Judge later....heehee.

i quite like the show...more enjoyable than american idol anyways...
and yeah...i think J.D is the one who has the most chemistry with the band..he deserves to win..
