Introduce me a new practise amp

Hello guys. I am currently suffering from a bad practise amplifier disease. I have a peavey blazer 158 transtube amp. 15 watt 8 inch speaker. Its a old amp and it sounds ridiculously fuzzy even on its clean channel , probably thanks to the 8 inch speaker. Another problem with the amp is it cant get a good volume, its either too soft and if you turn the knob abit more it goes crazy enough to enrage neighbours.

Please recommend me a new amp. My budget is $500++. Basically i would prefer it to have a nice clean tone (something that works great with pedals).
Best to have good speakers not expecting celestions but at least non-fuzzy and unclear tone. A plus goes if it can maintain good bedroom volume and can go loud enough for jamming.

Hmm.

Check out the new Vox AD valvetronix series. Tried the 30-watt version and got blown away. I believe with your budget you can go up to the 50-watt version.

fender frontman 25r.. great with pedals, and superb clean. i personally didnt like the built in drive but who cares! u got pedals, i assume.

plus its cheap, and its reverb is one of my favourite reverbs in an amp.. i'd very much like to own one but i have other priorities at the moment. heh..

maybe u can give the new vox ac4 a shot too? i have no idea abt it but it seems pretty cool. 4 watt tube amp..

+1 to the Fender Frontman 25R. Great clean tones. The vox ac4tv combo is already available in City Music but the head+cab version of it will be available this May according to Vox website. Might wanna test drive the vox actv4 soon ;)

Seems that Vox is trying to cash in on what Epiphone and Blackheart Engineering is doing :affordable tube amp combos/ head+ cab. Like dudelove suggested, u can give the Vox AC4TV combo a shot, its $300 for a tube amp.

This is the Vox AC4TV Head + Cab :

Vox AD is sold at City Music and u can try out the Fender Frontman at Ranking Sports.
