In Appreciation to Seeks Stomper.

I wanted to write this sooner but i didnt had the time.
im just lucky to have fallen ill today.

anways,
recently i sent my guitar to Seekz for a complete makeover.

I've seen and heard enough stories about our local (already established) dealers to make me stay clear of them.
Messy/imperfect/half-past-six job. and overcharged at times.

there were even cases where they said they fixed something that wasn't broken in the first place (and yes they charge you for it)

so i decided to try my luck with Seeks Stomper.

Basically Seeks was very helpful and patience with me.
(I'm a total noob when it comes to the internal mechanism of a guitar and stuff)

he answered every question and even discouraged me from doing modifications that was unnecessary.
(you know how the average dealers are, they make you do unnecessary upgrades even when they know you wont be using it just so they can make more money)

he walk me through step by step through the process just to make sure i understand what Im doing.

Basically the job was well done.
intonation was sweet.
both pick ups were leveled in terms of volume.
wiring was not messy (unlike a certain dealer)
New push/pull pots works like a charm.
everything was up to standard.

i must admit that i am impressed and it is im my opinion much more better done than those by the established dealers.

and at a much more affordable rate.

If given a choice of who to choose to do upgrades for my guitar, I'll gladly do it with Seekz again.

thank you Seekz

did i mention that i didnt have a handphone so Seeks had to wait for me to get to the appointed meeting place predetermined on Messenger.

Oh and did i mention i was late? so yeah, seeks had been very nice and patience with me.

Hmmm.. Never went to him before.. Only went to Beez, and I've seen Mike's work as well..

Since he had a Vintage G400 before, and I'm sure he'll notice this thread, hey Seekz! You reckon a LR Baggs T-Bridge with blender options and a Bigsby can be fitted into the guitar?
Seeing I already have orange drop capacitors installed, and you should remember how cramped the compartment is!

But I must add, his Punchtone is one of the best distortion pedals I've ever tried (I ain't a distortion fan, more of a fuzz and OD).. I would be using his pedal if ever my Silver Screw DS-1 fails me..:mrgreen:

I just watch batman yest, wah killer movie!
Came back late, sorry for the late reply.

Anyway, Thanks Aki! We didnt expect to have
our own thread as well. You didnt have to
thank us in public like that. paiseh lah!

Godspeed:
Sorry bro, I think I'm more adept with the electronics side of things.
If all the parts fits, I'm sure its a job even you can do yourself.
The key question to ask is, "Does it fit or not?" That my fren, I cannot answer you, LOL

Faizal hacker was asking me for a review.
so incase anyone else comes to me and asked about my review,
i figured i posted one here for all to see.
also, you did do a great job and i cant thank you enough...

He`s located in the East! Haha...Seekz, thanks for the Epi VJ amp mods and I never thought u could replace my lipstick tube pickups in my Danelectro guitar since this brand is kinda rare here :) Cheerios to this fella!

wah, the danelectro guitar was one of the wierdest thing
I've ever encountereed... Quite a challenge...

But the most hardcore jobs I got was those SEMI-HOLLOW GUITARS!!!!
Rewiring one is pure PAIN!!

hey jony and to anyone else whos interested.
I work from home, in Tampines, but very fortunately
travels alot around the Thomson, Bukit Timah and Bras Basah area.
Usually I like to do pick-up and drop off at these few location.

but can't seem to find any good location/price yet.
I'm looking towards the west side, anyone got any suggestion? LoL

They always put it at the middle shelf, at the center of the whole stretch.
I everytime drop by and disturb disturb move it to the top shelf WAHAHAHHA
