hi guys,do you guys use them woods provided from IKEA which kinda looks like the pedaltrain series?i got mine but the thing is now, where do i get bags, cover cases such as the pedaltrains one for myself?the size is quite big.equivalent to pedaltrain's smallest piece.

help me,i need somebody.

hmmz.. go peninsula shop around.. if not buy laptop bag.. if not the best is to take a backpack... :)....

make?its already done to look like a pedaltrain.it costs me 5 bucks for the whole "pedaltrain" like.the bigger ones were 7 or 9 bucks i think.now i really need help for the bag.where do i find them large enough carrier cases.

im just finding a bag that could cover the wood board.really like a westfield,or a pedaltrain bag.guess i'll go search mustafa centre tomorrow then.

its interesting in a way that it saves money.looking for alternatives like some softies here use laptop bags which is cool as alternatives to expensive products out there.i dont know about guides availability, but hey,all it takes is a little imagination and a little creativity.poof!you got what you need.

Its pretty easy to make DIY pedalboards.. Just need electric screwdriver/drill to make it alot easier. Then maybe a saw to cut those small pieces should you want your pedalboard to be slanted upwards at an angle.

the problem with diy-ing pedalboard, is not the board as some might have realised. Infact, any piece of board can be used to secure the pedal, other then wood. As long its sturdy and light enough. Main problem is the case, expecially if wanna bring outside of room...

Anyway, perhaps can try looking for keyboard/midi controller softcase, multiefx bag kinda and improvised a bit on the inside for the board to fit in and pedals firmly secured when bringing around..

Yeah....most pedal board is just a board..you can easily DIY...and the price is amazing 10 times cheaper.....good idea there dude.....can post pix.......just have to find a suitable bag...

gd morning.yes guess im going mustafa later.will be back to inform you guys on results.pics...i dont have a camera.

how bout using a cymbal bag?

and use a secular piece of wood the size of a ride cymbol?

a circle pedal board would be quite coool

mustafa centre,no luck.to ikea tomorrow to build my own bag with the fabric they provided.lets see if they allow built in cusions...

I bought a piece of wood meant to be used as a drawer from ikea, had it trimmed to size by a picture frame maker in my neighbourhood. bought a gator micro keyboard case (GATOR CASES) from music plaza - jokers had the bag and they didnt even know - and voila! Whacked on a couple of ikea handles much later.

so here's the board:

here's what the bag looks like:

how much was the retail price then?

unfortunately, all in it probably cost me more than if i just went to esden to get a westfield bag - but that's because the Gator bag set me back about $20+ already.

Can't remember, I just made the board because I was board, i mean bored.
