Ibanez Edge III to OFR, can be done!

For those of you who feel/think the Ibanez Edge III isn't good enough, isn't stable enough, here is a jemsite user who did a swap of his Edge III with an Original Floyd Rose.

He reported (on other threads) that he has full range of motion up and down, enough clearence on both sides.

That would mean, if you have a licensed floyd that has similiar measurements to the OFR, it should fit too.


Note: Guitar he used was an Ibanez RG 350DX

Apparently a OFR will fit a TRS perfectly.

Mine's a Yamaha TRS, so far haven't given me any problems. But good to know that if it wears out I can drop in an OFR.
