I need a compression pedal

Talk to Brother Goose.

He has an optical compressor, the Citrus. Nice. Its on my board now.

I prefer it because it doesn't colour as much as the Dynacomp and it doesn't squish as much as one. Also the release of the Citrus is extremely fast AND natural, I can't dial that in on a Boss CS-3 (modded), the CS-3's release is just too obvious.

the Citrus being sold is kinda different from the picture on the front page. The one on front page is having more knobs. Wondering if it's still in production.

the one in pic is with goose overdrive circuit built in together with the citrus compressor...

Its actually the boosty circuit .... in that...

The standalone citrus has 2 knobs and is in a phase90 kind of box.

Hurhurhur, actually I is already have the RMC FK-1. I just posted this for fun but to see all the bro bros here helping out so seriously!

I'd love to try the pedals one of these days!

UP ALL YOUR POINTS, BROS!!!

-.-"

BUT!

How do you find the FK-1? In comparison to the MXR Dynacomp and with its made-to-rival-rival, the mighty KEELEY Compressor?

cheat our feelings sia bro. btw i find the keeley comp clamping down your sound quite abit when a/b-ing it randolf's comp. but it's still good in certain situations..

who needs the keeley comp when you can get a barber tone press!

i just got mine today, FR goes as such:

i read about the internal trimpot that defined some color of the compressed tone, and full on= squish, no on = vintage, so i settled with mid way, which indeed sounded round. very round to my ears.

the manual provided some interesting settings, but i chapalang, and went with a slightly more noticeable squished tone, which is controlled by the blend knob, where fully clockwise = full on comp, fully anti-clockwise and it can double up as a 18db boost!! haha. so i had my blend knob at 3 o clock, and am loving it.

really does what i expected it to be, the evens out the attack, enhances your poorly picked/plucked notes. I even purposely tried picking and plucking lightly, with and without the tone press, and voila, it does some evening out magic. heh.

so.... go try it out, or even better agingyouth bro, go get the barber tone press! gotch good reviews from guitar player some more can. haha

me just bought the analogman mini bi comprossor.

I must say that its a good buy.

Now my sultan of swing solo sounds better, and my clean blues just got a bit more kick. :D
