YSR, if my frontliner was also a guy, we'd have done the socks thingy...haha, i keed too...

soyzabean, thanks for the compliments...but you didn't watch the vid's end credits ha? it says we didn't even make it to the finals...so how to win?

i feel that the improvised solo wasnt 'rhcp-esque' enough, i understand that you're trying to make it your way , but it didnt fit in.

hifi_killer, as you know the original doesn't even have a guitar solo, it's percussion of sorts...you said the improv solo wasn't RHCP-esque enough
but i think it's not even RHCP-esque at all, muahaha...that solo & tone was more influenced by Gilbert/Vai style, definitely not Frusciante...in fact, if you notice more, i even improvised the guitar riffs during the verses and the guitar chord values in pre-chorus was also not how Frusciante played it...well, i've to admit i screwed up the song, haha...
some people also said the girl singer wasn't Anthony Keidis-esque at all...??? i think what they meant was it's probably a big mistake to ask a girl to sing RHCP's stuff ?

shredrat, glad that you like it...can't blame the judges lah, if hifi_killer and myself are one of them, we will also give low marks to my band, haha...unless you're the judge, things could turn out different
