I've got a long chain of pedals and tap dancing on it can be a pain in the arse. Is there any way to minimise doing this, some sort of pedal switcher or something? I've seen this stompbox with multiple stomp buttons on it, i guess its the switcher im looking, but whats the technical name for it?

appreciate any help, thanks.

Minimal Tap Dancing
If you just want switches for individual pedals or maybe a series of pedals in one loop, w/o inter-mixing capabilities, then a true bypass looper strip e.g. loopmaster or TYMC's latest range will work. This will minimise tap dancing to a single strip of switches.

No tap dancing
If you want to have say 4 loops:

1 loop - chorus + slapback delay
2 loop - delay
3 loop - low gain OD
4 loop - distortion

And want these efx presets:

Preset 1 - low gain OD+chorus+slapback delay
Preset 2 - low gain OD+ distortion + Delay
Preset 3 - distortion + delay
etc...

And you don't wanna tap dance, then you need a switcher like this:

Other options may include the Carl Martin Combinator and the GigRig (if u got lotsa moolah).

thanks a lot.

mamemo, if you're interested in a true bypass looper strip, I have one for sale in the Buy/Sell section.
