i remembered using masking tape as grip tape when i was in band during primary school.

works very well, especially when u start sweating and the tape starts feeling stickier than usual.

I used to use the promark grip tape, but the pair of sticks became makeshift mallets after like... 20 mins because I hated the feel of it. Nothing beats a pair of naked sticks woohoo!

I grip only about 2/5 of my sticks. If tape goes too high up, it messes up my rimshots Chews up the tape too.

i read somewhere that dw 5000 is the same as the iron cobra, since both of them comes from the same blueprints from camco.
