i've got my sax as a present. it's a pity though. it was over 1000USD. if only my parents spend that money on getting me a nice guitar+amp. i'm stuck with my sisters yamaha acoustic guitar which she also got as a gift i think. but for some strange reason my parents won't support me getting an electric guitar so i've saved up my own money.

I got my first classical guitar from my parents when I turned 12, but then I broke it. And then I got an Ibanez starter pack GRG when I turned 16, from my parents as well. When I finally turned 18 I got an LTD AX 40 from my friends, I bought a floorpod with my own money, and then when I got bored with it, I sold it to get a few of my own peds, it was pathethic so my friend lent me his echopark (which eventually became mine) and my other friend got me a verbzilla. Right now I'm also using his DL4. Thats the whole story of my gear acquisition.
