How many guitars do you have?

i've had 14 in total, currently with 4, lookin' to cut it down to 3...its not easy to maintain so many guitars..

pretty much wanted to try 1 of each type to see how each feels & plays...

i honestly don't think anyone NEEDS more than 6 guitars...

to the TS, ask yourself the need for more than one guitar. there have been various reasons posted by others here already. here are my own reasons!

for me, i own 2 classical guitars, one of which is 3/4 sized, and i used that when i first started out about 10 years ago. up till recently, i lent it out to my beginner students whose hands weren't big enough!

then i bought two bass guitars, one four-string and one five-string so that the type of music i played could be varied.

then i rounded it up by getting an acoustic guitar cos...sometimes ya just wna strum and sing (:

it's a matter of need; if we need more than 1 guitar, then we should go ahead getting more than 1...

throughout my years of playing, i feel that i need a good single coil & humbucking tone to cover clean & distorted tones.

It's also a matter of want. I don't need to have so many guitars, but I want to have more. :)

Also depends on your circumstances too - your outlook will differ greatly if you have more money and are older (and supposedly wiser) and have a bit more disposable income than if you are just starting out and are not fortunate enough to have rich parents. At this point, needs and wants becomes a bit of a grey area...

I got 1 broken starter pack guitar worth nothing, but 1st guitar so sentimental. 1 12 string acoustic sitting there waiting to be strung, 1 classical. :(
Getting my new electric soon.

I have enough guitars to cover 1/4 of my current workroom and that my next workroom is gonna be reduced to 1/2 the current size. Which means that I'll have only 1/4 of of the working space available now in the future...

OMGWTFBBQ!!!! edder's going on major SALE soon!

uhmmm depends, if you're a girl in girl pants then maybe not... but if you're a dude in girl pants then lets start talking. a/s/l?

kitchen?

Before long, we'll have a backup in the bathroom. Pentatonic scaling while taking a crap anyone?

I have 4 guitars, 3 electrics and 1 acoustic. But I feel that after the first electric and acoustic, everything else became a want rather than a need.

Two electric guitars and 1 classical for me,

between the electric guitars 1's on Floyd and the other 's a fixed bridge, simply for experimenting with different tunings without the hassle(:

been through many, more then 10, but most of the time, as soon as i get it, i regret, perhaps thats what GAS is about

I dont believe you. Show us your gallery ;)

No need to wait for long. I've done that before.
Especially with a classical guitar......you'll be amazed what kind of acoustic a HDB toilet provides ;)
