Senseless thread/poll indeed. But the replies are really fun to read. Actually ended up getting curious about, and finding a bit more on, Dimebag.

Yes, I've come across such too. And saw an old Phil Anselmo's statement on Dimebag's passing-away. Well, all pretty new to me as I wasn't exposed nor into their music. But now, deciding on which Pantera album to get and 'initiate' myself into. Most likely Vulgar Display...
I guess I'm wrong. Not a senseless thread at all. But the TS, with all his pompous 'essay-writing' (on another thread) need some serious help in pulling off that stick up his behind. If not for the really funny comments, he calls these flaming, his threads and polls are incredibly dull, stupid and er yea, dim.
O, I've always thought of a dimebag's like a kid's pouch for coins, but according to some dictionary it's something else.

Just leave van_halen alone. If he doesn't wanna post anything here, thats his problem, not yours. What wrong has he done to all of u who demand he speak up? If his threads are harmless and for the sake of entertainment/enjoyment, I dun see why the fuss around here.

yes its true its harmless but come on man, its pretty lame. Have you ever encountered a situation where the geek/wierdo thinks he's cool and stands out in his big ass belt with flashing lights, and makes it even worst by going ard telling ppl "i'm the coolest person here". and when some guy tells him he looks like a dufus, he simply ignores it and thinks he looks better than that some guy. This situation is something like that. some ppl just cannot stand that kind of attitude in society,

The key word here is IF. The problem is, is that he's not making polls that is of any point in the first place. He's created plenty of polls that has zero meanings to it. It does not stimulate any constructive arguments nor constructive criticisms. It does not make us ponder or think. It doesn't make us laugh. All his polls does is to just say:
"Hey I'm bored, I'm making another poll, with obvious answers, cause I'm a bored out kid."
I've ignored most of his other polls, but there is a very fine line between having fun and being annoying. The answers to his "polls" are too OBVIOUS, WIKIPEDIA could give you the answer.
It doesn't pose the multi-answered question that would see good, constructive arguments being set and being countered. It doesn't make us rack our brains for answers or make us think deep in thought. Rather, it is like he's trying to be a class clown, but becoming a class irritant in the process
If this is his tactic of trying to make himself well known, I'm sorry but this is making him well known for the entirely wrong reasons. There are other ways of doing so without making himself look like as if he doesn't use his brain to think
