i thought ibanez is supposed to be pronounced "eee-bah-nez", while "eye-ber-nez" is the incorrect way of pronunciation?

HAHA totally reminds me of this time i was on the bus with my friends. these 2 girls were standing in front of us and we overheard what they were talking abt.

she said "hey i saw that EYE-BAINZ ystd at swee lee damn nice leh"

eye-bainz!!! 2 syllables!! we literally laughed out loud

haha seems like total opposite according to wiki. if it was a jap word it'll be eee baa nez, but i think it's spanish or something,

Hmm...Ibanez is a Japanese brand? That's what it says on Wikipedia.

And D'Addario actually originated in a small Italian town so the Americans pronounce it as "Da-Dairy-Oh" while Italians would probably pronounce it as "Dahd-Dah-Ree-Oh".

Hmm...Not too sure about the proper way to pronounce Andres D'Alessandro.

I studied Spanish for a year but that was when i was 16! Can't remember!

My guess would be "ahn-drahys dee-ah-lay-sun-droh"

I'll check with my Spanish friend.
