How do you all transport 88 keys stage pianos and keyboards?

It wont fit in a normal taxi and those mpv type taxis also dont really seem to like transporting such a huge board.

FedEx.

just kidding. In All seriousness, try calling for a Honda Freed taxi (those blue ones), they have space down the middle of the passanger row if i'm not wrong. either that or you call a MPV taxi, and collapse all the chairs, stack the piano on top, and pray nothing happens to it.

The only way it can fit into a normal 4-seater car - lay down the front seat (beside driver seat) all the way down, lay the keyboard on the front seat fitting it all way down into the leg area, use the front seat-belt to secure it.

Having said that, it will work best if you have a car. Most taxis won't allow that. Even MPV taxis will need to lower down some seats, and so won't be too happy with transporting such items. I believe they fear damage to the seats.

I brought the Korg SV-1 in the roller bag back home in the back seat of my Mitsubishi Lancer (the old one) with no probs. Key is to rest one side on the floor and angle it diagonally. Taxis are way bigger than my car

Do you have the 73 or 88 key version of the SV-1?

You didn't have to fold down the front passenger seat?
