How do i palm mute on a les paul

Huh? Palm muting on an LP is an art?:???: It takes years?

um... right...

yeah bro , the humbuckers are so muuucccchhh harder to palm mute with than that compared to the single coils on the strat hahahahahahahaha .

It's like learning kung fu but more intense

A palm mute is a palm mute. A technique. Simple as that.
Just like how a bend is a bend.
Or how a rake is a rake.
Or how a pinch harmonic is a pinch harmonic.

These are matters dealing with your own technique, nothing to do with the guitar per se.. Palm muting on an LP is not much different from palm muting on a strat (although, to counter the above point, bending on a Kahler-equipped guitar is different altogether)..

HAHAHAHAHHA. i'm sorry for that.
i've played quite a few guitars myself. a palm mute is a palm mute liek what god speed mentioned.
whats so hard about palm muting on a LP? and lest it being a myth? :???:
first time i've heard of such a myth...

palm muting on teh res pour is a myth passed down from the earliest shang dynasty if you donch knoww.even the emperors back then had a hard time with heavy solid bodies with humbuckers(if you know what i mean)

ahahah yeah. its the same basically. but i have to admit that my palm mute when im using a strat sounds really sketchy cos i've been using lp style bridges ever since i started guitar
