ive heard bad stuff about its PURE bypass system which is like a buffered bypass so it cuts some high end from the signal. Also, some hissing from the chorus side. I think VS compromise on these things when combining 2 effects into 1 and selling cheaper. Anyway, i prefer true bypass.

I've also read that a buffered bypass is an excellent idea in a pedal chain. But hey, to each his own.

End of the day, it's much more important to test and use your ears. :)

buffer = retains high but depending on design can get spiky!! All Boss and similar fet switch have input and output buffer .... bad design can give you volume upsets here.

gain = gain ...nothing is lost there as the volume is constant in out of effect ... 8O

true bypass = awesome but at times cAN give you the volume upsets !!

HAHAHAHAHA!!!

Now Ciel, you know why I dun like buffers?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

*Ahem* Back to topic, I tried the H2O the other day, but it just didn't sit right with me.. The chorus was fine but the delay was a little too sterile for me, I think.. Again, to each his own..

get individual effects, can arrange the pedals in different combis too. the flexibility is there man! plus u get to tweak the pedals individually too.

hey can u guys recommend me a good analog delay which is not so frickin big like all those EHX's?

heh but that fricken big ehx deluxe memory man has got 660ms of delay.

Maxon AD999 anyone?

900ms of analog delay tone.

Or the Guyatone MD-3 , uber small. 2.7 (or 2.8?) secs of delay.

Or a Nobel's Delay pedal.

nobels is didgitar?

Oops. Hehehe. Yes , both are, but the Nobels imitates an analog well apparently.
