Help on Note That dont sounds right

ok im using a suzuki lespaul
i just change my strings to gauge 11
when i tune to C note(Drop C)
The 6th string dont sounds like C
i felt weird other strings are ok i guess
but whats the prob?
im using a tuner to tune
it writes C but i does not sounds like C
then tension is tight though

i thought after u drop tune your 6th string should be loose and not tight?

LOL. there are many different types of C one. maybe you got the wrong C?haha what tuner are you using?

try turning the peg in the direction that loosens the string....until u reach C

im using some tuner no brand
got it for 20+
when i try 'loose' C
it will have buzz and kinda too loose

did you accidentally set the hz to a wrong value? it should be 440.

if it still sounds wrong, u should bring it to a tech.

dropped C: Drop/lower the tuning to C note in relative to the standard E.

Thus will be loose, floppy and almost unplayable.

wanna play dropped c, go changed to thicker string gauge, resetup the guitar for better playing.

Any dropped tuning is supposed to tune down, not up.

Just my 2cents here, basically if the guitars set up to lighter string gauge like .9 or .10 and u decide to change to heavier ones like .11. I strongly advice to send it for proper setup to respespective string gauge. I wouldnt want to go in details why it has to be like that. so for now i guess sending your guitar for setup is the best solution!

Few reasons. Might be the neck warp after tuning the rest of the strings, strings not stretched enuff, intonation or tuner. u might wanna sent it for a set up to set your neck to the correct tension of the string.
