mega blood fest? gore was limited leh... haha
guess there'd be a saw III but with the psycho's daughter instead?
the starting iron maiden scene was the only mind disturbing part though... the guys who got shot in the eye, err, baked alived, smashed in the head, hands stuck and bled to death, neck kena sawed... all medicore lah...
and the ending twist was dumb :twisted:
should have watched the new lame disney's show instead...

though i expected saw ii to be taken to another level, i thought that the twist was the one that helped it reach the level which i expected..
the front part(the cutting of the eye part) did not really come across as something too gore-ey, i thought he'd really cut it all off and fail...with all the blood pouring out of his eyes, and screams...to be cut off by the snapping sound of the neck mask..that'd be what i'd call a scene worthy of saw.
anyways, it was cool..ahaaha...and the chicken little...that's the disney movie...it's really cute...

oh.. if i was in that guy's position, i'd have spent the last few minutes praying instead of disfiguring myself...

you should edit the thread title to include a spoiler warning. if i came across this before watching the show i would be very pissed indeed...
watched it back to back with Saw 1 and it completely blows it away..i don't care what the critics say..absolute genius. love the link back to the original.
with regards to the first scene, i would have found a way to jam the mask and prevent it from snapping down, there were a couple of items that could've been used.
of course its easy to say so now la,put yourself in the guy's shoes and see if you're still capable of rational thought. i would probably just sit down and go "f..k im dead................."

Anyway, the show was great... and the producers will be coming out wiht part III. Check out the website... i think its called House of Jigsaw or something. Lots of stuff for extreme horror lovers.

oh yes! the metal chair in the room and all... he just needed to put 1 piece of metal infront and the other on the back... then when the iron maiden snap it't wouldn't kill him... just that err... he'd had to find his way out while his vision was being blocked by a metal chair... lol

referring to me perhaps...? didn't you feel it was a little cliched when amanda did what jigsaw did in saw one..and her girly voice didn't really have an impact on me...thats the typical part i was talking about...as for the other twists and turns i thought they were genius..for more info check out house of jigsaw, a saw II official forum where many of your doubts will be answered..
perhaps the most impt aspect of the show that the director wanted to us to know...was what jigsaw was preaching. Cherish every minute of your live and live it like it's going to be end.

It's not a no brainer gore fest film if that's what most of the movie-goers thought what it was, but Saw 1 was way better.
