Hand/wrist Injury

thanks guys i guess i will try to do feet training or read up more advance theory..

i dun think i have the ability to carry my double pedals out though haha

but i will never give up on drumming!

if you got enough money may even wanna consider getting the mounting for your snare so you can play it with the feet :X

just to ask opinions guys.couple of months ago i fractured my right foot.yeah and one my so called mini-bone (i don't know what is the medical terms for it) was sticking out.doctor said it would take me couple of months to recover.
My problem is....
When i play the drums, maybe after like an hour i feel a slight pain on my foot and i have to massage it to remove the tense. It's like a cramp and it's a pain the ass.
Anyone has this problem before?

hmmm, sounds like the bone has yet to recover.

monitor it closely for another few months, and practice sparingly, maybe not an hour.

if it persists few months from now, get it looked at again. if ur really concerned, go to a specialist and get it x-rayed then.

i was really into blading 6-7 years ago, and fell backwards one time. what i did, was without a wrist guard, used my right hand wrist to cushion the impact. it didnt really hurt at that point.

i felt a significant pain in my wrist the next day. and it took almost 10 months for it to recover completely.

i didnt see a doctor as it wasnt a really significant pain, but just a dull one, but it was there nevertheless, and it affected my playing drums for awhile.

regards

drummeright: Do get your foot check out man, whenever there is pain means somewhere of it is injurded.

Fractures are more serious, but heals fasters than tendons and ligament injuries. And lcky of me i got both -.-

plains man what type of wrist injury did u get?
