Guys with Long hair

How many of u guys on soft have long hair. long i mean like LONG heavy metal hard rock hair?

I'm in Ngee Ann poly and i have pretty long hair. recently one of my teachers told me to go cut my hair or she wouldnt let me in the next lesson. WTF. i was so pissed off that lesson, i mean after leaving for close to a year i have to cut just because of one stupid teacher.

then i realised that IT IS a school rule. NO LONG HAIR FOR GUYS.

fine, but WHY pick on me only! why not pick on ppl like.. like.. PAUL TWOHILL! ahhaha.

but in the end i went up to my teacher cos i seriously had a problem with cutting my hair. i mean i was even thinking if she wants to fail me i wont mind. since i already failed so many.

so in the end she gave in. cos i told her this my only chance of keeping. and i asked her why pick on me. wanna make me cut make all the rest cut too..

just wondering. do u guys with long hair get this kinda crappy teachers?

and why on earth do schools make a rule that isnt enforced?

im from republic poly,and i'm keeping long hair too(but now just shoulder length lah)

i think there's no rule that i know of about keeping long hair,but poly's like that,many rules they dont enforce much.like over here.they say cannot wear flip-flops/slippers,but i see MANY people wearing it,and guard dont do anything about it :S
 
i was gonna ask if you were paul twohill. heheh

there's a thread about long hairs earlier this year. i did a search and there was too many. so i gave up.

my hair is kinda long. got complaints from parents and thats just about it.
and my hair's blnding my eyes.:mrgreen:

hahah anyway my teacher told me the rules are very hard to enforce because the amount of ppl breaking the rules are too vast.

I got long hair too! And Im from RP. I dun get teachers who asked me to cut my hair. But there's this facilitator of mine always pick on me. He will always ask me tough questions and give me not so satisfying grades.

There's 1 time that faci asked me a tough qn, and i got fed up cuz its always me...so i answered anyhow. And then the lecture abt the hair starts. He asked when was I gonna cut my hair..then those talks abt my attire and all and my future if i still am untidy like now bla bla bla....He is the worst faci ever.

I'm not in poly. But about 19 years ago, I was in some institution not in Singapore though. No problem having long hair and with the cold weather it was really helpful. Hehehehe!! The institution rule is man with long hair should tie-up and look neat but no one bother about that bloody rule. So, almost everymen have long hair. Even faculty in medicine are spotting long hair then. They might be some doctors by now who have to cut their precious hair. Hehehehe!!

But for me, I'm still sporting long hair. Time has changed, in the earlier years of my working career...it's a no-no for long hair. But now, even my employer are fine as long I tie it while in the office. Can't wear business attire with my hair down right? Hehehehe!!

EH QUESTION FOR THOSE OUT OF ARMY.

after coming out can start keeping again. but once reservice have to cut again right? so how on earth do u see some adults with so long hair?
 
woot~yea. long hair rocks. out of schooling nw.but have to say long hair is a staple of that metal rocker inside. it's all good as long as it doesn't resembles a horse mane.
 
We come to poly to study, not to dress up like sholes!
So, why do the lecturers care about our attire and those stuffs..
but only for practical lessons we must wear proper attire.. but just for the sake of attending lessons in class long hairs and slippers don't kill your brain cells during studying at all. so i'm against the rule.
anyway, for me long hair rocks but one thing in mind, just keep it tidy and neat:D
 
beat my classmate, waist-length hair. never cut since recently, leaving a waist-length tail. =D

anyways, just keep it tidy and neat, at least you can give a proper image when you go work.

That's very simple....'Keng' lah. Get downgraded or go overseas to work...you are given 3 years exit permit. After times up, renew and renew again loh if you still have that overseas job. Well, you'll never know you might not wanna come back after going abroad for so long.

If you stay like normal Singaporean, you have to go for yearly reservist till you reach the age of 40. Then during that time, if you fail IPPT you have to go for RT from time to time. You may be fit now as you are young but when age catch up with you....you may not be as fit as you once thought you are. But on the bright side, it actually help you to be fit. You are force to exercise and pass that IPPT. If you are regular failure, you'll go more often of the RT until you get bored with it like I did then I go overseas to work. Hehehehe!!

bro, if i'm not wrong, for non-officers it's 10 cycles or 10 years whichever comes first, am i right? because i am afraid that by not calling me my liability will kena extended. the rule on this was changed relatively recently and alot of people still saying alot of BS

don't worry, there will always be those ultra gunyang kind of recruits... which emphasizes the point that EVERY SINGLE singaporean male must do NS. even these weirdos. it's rare to be the weakest guy lah. and then on the other end of the spectrum got those super enthu guys. just stay in between, blend in with the rest, avoid the arrows, and u will be safe.
 
yeah but most of those gunyang wierdos u mentioned i thought they always end up pes c-e or something like that???
