Guitar Recommendation

This will be the perfect punk guitar if you don't know what you want.

dosent mean that your dad is in money mood you MUST buy a guitar. why are you taking advantage of this? you dont even know what you want.
your sx good for punk, tgm for metal you have both genre's in your hands now. unless you want to play some classical, you stick to your 2 guitars.

Yes take advantage now, or I won't get it later. He even said that to me.

But your words.. How do you know they are good for punk and metal specifically?
 
lespauls are versitile and you said yourself metallica uses les pauls too, so 1 guitar should already be enough to tend to your needs. as for the tgm its just an add on.
 
I had my Yamaha electric (Strat-like, HSH) for 7 years before upgrading. It was still good for what I used it for but the pickups volume began to vary and the frets were grooved after so many years. I considered re-fretting and changing the electrics but after many logins to Soft I ended up with:
  1. an Edwards LP some mods;
  2. an Ibanez SZR520
Both were used but felt very happy with the acquisition. Strange but I still keep my Yamaha somehow.

you can find out if a guitar is good for punk or metal by:
1)Wood of the body
2)Pickups(stock)
3)not looking at the shape of the guitar.
 
dun need get new guitar la. if u play a suck guitar but got awesome skills, ppl more admire u. if u play a pro guitar but got suck skills, ppl say u throw the guitar brand's face.
 
if u dont know whats wrong with ur tgm then dont bother getting a new one.

i'll bet once u get a new guitar u'll find there's something wrong with it also. i'm damn sure its not any guitars problem but its the fact that u cant play guitar.

all ur threads ppl have been giving advise to go try them out and u refuse to cos u're embarrased and when u're asked to do ur own research u say u're lazy. worst of all ur dad's paying for u. u seem to expect everything to be given unto u. money, advice. seriously, its either u're pampered or u think us softies owe u something..

yeah just decided screw the guitar. Keeping my two current guitars. I'm not pampered, this is the first time my dad is buying me things. Most probably he thinks will make me study more on my academics cos I'm due for streaming this year in secondary two in my school. I will and I am. And I'm not asking for a spoonfeed. I do my research, but not enough. I have no idea how it sounds like and everything thats why I'm asking for a recommendation.

Aiya anyway this thread is over since I already decided to keep my two guitars. So end of story bye.
