Guitar dilemma

Thanks a dozen jumbofret. Man that helped a lot.. :D

Hei Heavenscolud.. I think you should buy the tokai as sub says the tokai has good reviews.. Well to me.. I always say quality over quantity.. So pick the best and finalise your decision..Remember.. you get for what you pay for.. :D :D

yes a good amp is important...

but if i were you.. and if i was a lp fan.
id plonk the money down for the tokai...

buy first , worry about amp later.

its ok sub. we can blame oldness for all the mistakes that we've done...

If its ok the be young AND stupid, we're entitled to be old AND senile.

lol fretless6, shameless plug!

though I'm currently GASing for a Dillion guitar myself haha, it's a veritable PRS at half the price.

the best, just use the money and get a fender strat, used for any genre of music, be it metal, rock, classical, blues----> that's the strat for you.

cause i m considering one.......as my new guitar........harmony central played a huge part in that

haha, it's not fair for me to do a review of it since I'm a dealer. I'll get someone else to do one.

haha... can i take it for a spin then?

hmm... ya... just wondering.. .would you bring in Dillion teles? the dillion teles look really really solid.

do try the fixed bridge PRS copy, that was what i m might be aiming for. use looks to cover up my playing.

I just returned from my trip to the guitar stores just now. Here are some suggestions you might want to consider, Heavenscloud.

Yamaha @ Plaza Singapura is selling the AES820 at $950 (special price)!
It's an alder bolt-on single-cutaway guitar with Dimarzio pickups, do try it before dismissing it. They have Fernandes/Burny LP copies there as well.

City Music doesn't sell Dean guitars anymore.

Have you guys been to the Tokai website before? It's here at http://www2.wbs.ne.jp/~tokai/

Hamamatsu, Japan, is known as the birthplace of Yamaha, Honda and Tokai! I hope this helps.

Is Gain 10 an authorised dealer for Dillion Guitars? Have you ever contacted Mr John Dillion before?

Yup, it's true... Dillion guitars are made in the same factory as the Korean Tokai models.

I see... It's interesting that some of your Dillion guitars have maple bodies! What kinda tone does a maple body generate?

Why doesn't Gain 10 carry the Strat, Tele and LP copies from Dillion?

someone alerted me to my comments with regards to my earlier posts, i thought i'd do a correction here: i'm NOT trying to be sarcastic in any way. if anyone was offended by my earlier comments then apoligies all round, sometimes it's difficult to communicate in this faceless realm of the internet, people tend to assume certain things...

on that note, if you know me personally, you'll know that i'll go all out to help you acquire a certain piece of gear.

It adds more "edge" to the tone. Think of a LP tone, but with more clarity.

The reason why we didn't bring in those models and only "PRS type" guitars is quite simple. There are plenty of good Strat, Tele and LP replicas out there, but not alot of good PRS replicas. :smt081
