It adds more "edge" to the tone. Think of a LP tone, but with more clarity.

this is the major reason why i'm not too keen on the LP...

I think those Dillions caught my attention too. Well fretless6, might go check them out after exams. Killer looks on those PRS copies. Anyway to subversion, no offence taken no worries! Haha.. and to jumbofret, thanks for the effort man. Really appreciate it.

Well, might opt for a Dillion instead (I see fretless6 smiling) but no promises.. gotta go try them out one day. Soon..
