GT 8 or GT -10.. or PODxt or Digitech or Vox?

haha, i may be going out of point, but hell, this is the closest thread i've seen in recent times that suits what i want to ask.
haha.

i'm plannign to buy a multi efx for bass, and i'm sort of stuck between the boss or the line 6 one.
i'm planning to get into experimental music, so any recommendations?

sorry if this post is like out of point.

but currently, i'm leaning towards the boss one.
seems more user friendly.
haha

btw,
i have tons of single pedals yet to sold.
quick. potential buyer plse view the effect buy/sell.

line6

i think line6 makes the best multi effects around... i always stand corrected... but so far for what i've been using, whether to record or play live, line6 so far does not really give me problems

The issues with Line6 X3 Live..
- quite a number of people find it not as durable as the XT Live one. (X3L is plastic)
(well i guess they step the buttons too hard. whack it here and there everywhere they go, its ALOT lighter though.)
- I read alot of complaints on their x3l being faulty.

well..some people have lost faith in line6. i even read comments that they replaced the units several times ( with warranty ).
i was one of the many who pre-ordered from citymusic when it first came out.
luckily for me, my unit was excellent. been using it since and nothing faulty.

The same goes to line6 spider III amp. i never encountered any problems with that amp either. but still, there are alot of complaints.

though iv never tried BOSS GT-10, this is what i heard/read so far,
as mentioned by MadWereWolfBoy, pitch shifter/tracker is better than Pod
as mentioned by igoh002, effects are better.

Pod X3 Live on the other hand,
more versatile.
more user-friendly.
gearbox software is really really cool...

and i dont think multi-fx are too digital. you only need time and patience to tweak till u nail down the tone you want.

there are endless debates on which is better.."gt-10 vs podx3live"
and this is the conclusion i came up with.
so its up to you really. Try both and see which suits you best.

I am using a PodXTL now, and rather satisfied. I am looking for an amp to play through. Can anybody suggest some? Some say that plugging in to the effects loop is the best, not sure how true but I kinda believe it.

Budget <1000SGD
