as for e marshall amp, of coz aiming tube amps.. maybe will change for crate.. heard they are nt bad too.. and the mic position, yeah.. must research on how pro's position it! and definately getting a shure mic..

Don't see how you get more "tone" from running the DS1 straight to amp. :lol:

At the heart of the matter would be just.. I dunno... too poor to afford an amp?

If you got a problem with vol, you can always go for sansamps, but note, the sansamp Original does not have a speaker sim, so it might sound harsher going line in.

Be careful abt the DSLs, they are quite notorious for their heat problems. Unless you wanna buy a head. hurhurhur
