Good reliable 1/4" instrument cables?

Hey fellow softies!

Well recently ive bought a couple of cables and yeah they are really pissing me off with the "looseness" of the connectivity between the jack and the jackhole.

Any recommendations for reliable instrument cables? And if so, where to get it at what price? Thanks

the lossness, is prolly due to the jack on your instrument, not the cable or the phone plug...

open up the phone jack, you will see 2 metal tab, go adjust the 2 tab so that it will hold the plug more secure.

If the tabs from the jack not adjusted, no matter what cable/cable plug it is, it still wont solved the issue of the looseness

Well i put my guitar thru my DS-1 pedal and then thru the amp. i dont think it is my guitar cus when i twist the jack for my amp/output pedal it has the cracking sound(connect/disconnect).
