Good earphones?

There is no difference in sound quality between Creative EP635 and EP630 rite? Is it really worth the buy? Coz i know tt Creative's earhones have a reputation for not lasting long.

And where do u get those Cresyn thingies?

Thanks!

Bang & Olufsen... period.

What brand is tt bro? Nvr heard of it b4. Where can i check those out?

What brand is that? Do google search la. They only have one earphone product (yes... one after so many years. If nobody else built better product, why bother churning out new model? hehehehe)

I know it's beyond your budget. It will cost round $160-$170 a pair. So if your budget is up to $90, i'd suggest to eat more grass for few more weeks and save up for B&O. Once you try this, you won't want any other earphone

Second best choice, I would go for Sennheiser MX500. You have choices of white and black. Really bang for the buck. I think it's about $35 a pair in sim lim.

Happy shopping

i juz got the creative ep-630(the black version). and i juz got one thing to say. ITS ROCKS!!! for its price it really is a steal man.

im currently using it on a shitty $50 mp3 player. even so, the bass is great. its nt like the sony earphones, where the vox seem muffled and in the background. the bass, to me, is sufficient, not excessive. the vox sounds very clear, juz like using normal earphones, juz that nw u have a thumping bass background.

one thing i dont like is, is the mids(?). i duno. its juz that sometimes, the snare sound gets gets very piercing, and its a little irritating. so u sorta haf to turn down the volume so u wont get a headache.

bt overall its a great pair of earphones.

^ urmm dude...the piercing sound might be caused by low quality music...i mean if ur music is 96KBps then its bound to have that piercing sound.. :D just saying..

and YEAH!!! creative headphones are great...panasonic too...

nope its not bcoz of low quality music. its juz that the mids are too strong. i used the earphones on my com n used windows media player's eq and reduced the mids and it was alot better. so u have to have custom eq if u reali wana get the full potential out of these earphones. great earphones, bang for buck.

I second ChanMin's quip on the Grado SR-60. They're def one of the best(clarity, flatness of response, soundstage) open-ear cans for S$120. Do note that these are headphones/cans, and not earphones per se. For earphones, if you have the cash, you could take a look at several in-ear series for Etymotic and Shure. Very typical brands that amateur audiophiles stick to before some of them upgrade to more exotic and cash-demanding brands. Have fun in your search!

creative can't last. Serious. get Sennheiser... average price and very good quality

creative and sennheiser are worlds apart in terms of cost. good ones will set u back more than 50 bucks at the very least.

im jz saying that the ep630 is very good for its asking price(<$50) of course sennheriser if better. bt for wat i paid if it lasts me six months im more than happy. so yeah. those who have a tight budget and are looking for decent pair of earphones this is the one to get. bt of course if u haf a bigger budget, there are many more better than this and by all means get them.

juz wana clarify that im nt saying the ep630 is the best earphones in the market. :D

What kind of earphones are you looking for? Your price range.... Shure are not bad. Audio Tech are pretty ok . If you are looking for normal use the one that comes with the ipod are not bad too the original ones. If you would like something a little better and expensive you can go for te B&O earset 3 they are awesome it cost about 330 i am using it too. They comes in black white yellow and more to ... Audio Tech are high end models are good too . Or you can try UE but its like 600 plus for a good one too expensive.

Ultimate Ears.

They have the metro-fi but i'm not too sure about the price though.

You can try em at Jaben Networks at Adelphi. Thats opposite Peninsula.

The earphones there damn swee.

I'm sorry if i introduced something a little out of your budget, but their worth the saving up!

I use the UE Super-Fis and I think they're amazing and well worth the cash. Really comfortable and the sound just cannot be beat.
