Good earphones?

Hi, I would like to know what earphones u ppl use or find most suitable for ur needs. I'm looking for a decently good pair of earphones.

I've been using those Sony in-ear earphones for quite some time. I would say they're ok but not as long-lasting as I hoped they'd be. Now I'd like to find out about other brands (Panasonic, Sennheiser, Audio Technica etc.) and how they fair compare to Sony.

Hope that u guys could post some reviews on good earphones that are within the standard budget ($50 - $90). Not Shure of course! :P I'm more interested in those "in-ear/noise isolation/ear plug kinda earphones.

Hope I could get help on this. Thanks! :)

audio technica sucks and philips is quite good for it's price i get all my headphones frm best bcos i break them often *hint* never cycle and listen 2 music :P

Chester, I'd like to know your experiences with AT, because I've had a pair of ATH-M30 headphones for a while already and they haven't failed me yet.

i've got audio technica in ears. most in ears are mid-treblish sounding and not as well balanced. i personally don't like them because there's really not much bass in it.

i dun care man. i'm saving up for a shure..... hopefully.. =/

90 bucks ?

dude u must be joking ... u wanna get a westone UM-1 man ... firstly it looks cool.. and it sounds great ... go save up.. if u wan something .. always get the best... as ur gonna stick with it ... i believe the price is about 170 ... Go Jabben network.. at adelphi .

Shure is using the technology of Westone to make their in-ears
shures are too expensive ... and they dun fit well... and they dun sound really good.. but westone ... sound good ... fits well..
if ur look for a more muffled tone it'd be westone...
but if ur looking for Clear tones it'd be ultimate ears.
i suggest u go check em out at adelphi .. then think about it

Cheers
anyway for ur info i'm using a Westone UM-2

Oh yea....panasonic headphones are good also...as for sony...there's a definite bassy sound :D for philips...urmm....they fail really quick...

i'm using creative for now...they make quite good earphones...unless u dun know how to care for it...

I heard the new Sennheiser CX300 is good. Very good reviews, and I think it's about $109 fro Best (not so sure, though). I'm using Sony MDR-EX71, they're OK for noise isolation and have decent bass, but they don't last long. The lst one I used only lasted me 6 months, then one side no sound. Anyway, I always can tell a HUGE difference betwen my Grados and the Sony. I use the Grados in the office, and when I take bus, I change to the Sony for noise isolation. So that's why I'm looking to change to the Senns.

hurhruhur those will cost u an arm and a leg.

Sony has a pair which is not in-ear its normal earphones

digital fontopia. MDR-E888.

go check thowse out.

in ears all have this excessivly heavy bass and treble with very little mids which is irritating.

Hmm.

For B&O earphones, they have their boutique store (if I'm not wrong) at Scott's shopping centre.. or at least just next to tangs.

I agree with ciel that AT headphones have this heavy bass and treble with a lack of midrange. And yeah.. it is fookin irritating.

I used to own a pair of Panasonic and they lasted for about 2 years... and the sound was incredible. I'd give anything for a new set.. but I just can't find them being sold anymore... :(
