This person states the terms out in the open, it's not shady at all so it's not "cheating". The person listed the terms - it's up to you whether you wanna agree to it. You don't agree with it, it's your choice, the person is not cheating either.

C'mon guys, think before you shoot. Terms laid out on the table, take it or leave it, it's that simple.

10 tickets = no comm

I would advice interested band to be confident with selling off those tix before they sign up. No point signing up and fail to get the tix moving, then complain the organiser cheated them or whatever...

yeah, or you pay a promoter to promote you and handle your media profile to the media and get you on the cover of all the magazines. you'll sound a lot better in print than you really are. then you better back it up when radio and television start to cover you as well.

you get a gig slot, no one comes, what're you performing for then? might as well just play your own 'private' gig in the jamming studio right?
