Gibson LP Vs PRS standard satin

Type joint in microsoft words, search for synonyms, and viola, some of them are verbs! Eg. it suggests combined (verb) instead of combination (noun) and united (verb) instead of unison (noun). This shows that it can be used both as a verb and a noun.

I rather edit my posts so that they can be easily read in a single post rather than having them all over the place.

Ok continue next time. I go sleep first. Post all you want then I reply to everything at once.

not being able to hit anything while hiding a monitor wasnt to be taken literally either boy..

Hmm well ... you were bashing gibson ... promoting Prs and then u were going on and on about JG guitars remember?

Now u say im Stupid?~?~
Just because i pointed out that its not right to bash gibson like that?
First what i say is bullshit , now im stupid... hahaha someones getting creative eh?

At least im not SMELLY like you~ hmpf!
your pee pee is joint to your face. dickface.

so easy to be a kid again ... haizz

Then correct me on my wrongs about Gibson? Let me hear it from you EXPLICITLY. Type it out, list it out, whatever. Just stop beating around the bush. I even did a summary on what I've said about Gibson on the other thread.

If you will, I'll just focus on the brands and guitars themselves and ignore the flame crap just so I can discuss it with you. We owe that much to the thread starter.

My posts on JG and PRS effectively stopped on the 2nd page. I do not mention PRS AND JG in EVERY SINGLE POST I make. That is the proper meaning of raving.

Edit:

People are saying I bash Gibson because I say:

1. They have lousy QC
2. Their aim is to maximise profits and production quota at the expense of their QC
3. They sell by their brand name Gibson
4. They are no longer the same company in the 50s which took care of their guitars
5. The R9s do not have the correct specs as the '59 burst
6. Guitars with same type of but higher quality build, material, construction albeit slightly altered body shape can outdo an R9 in achieving that classic Les Paul tone, since totally different guitars such as a tele can even sound like a Les Paul.
7. PRS has better QC than Gibson
8. Gibson is no longer the market standard, other companies such as PRS set the bars so high for a factory mass produced guitar that Fender and Gibson are playing catchup.

Here I copied it for you to save you the trouble of finding that thread. Now tell me what is so wrong with what I say?

I did not say "joint" cannot be used as a verb. I said it cannot be used in the example provided by your post i.e. "joint to".

Just to be nitpicky, it's microsoft word, not words, and it's voila(french expression for satisfaction with an accomplishment), not viola(an instrument).

Chanmin, I feel young again, being childish and all! Ok time to stop my nonsense.

The vIOla thing and microsoft wordS was my bad. Kudos to you who can still read and type properly at 4 am in the morning. So how is joint used as a verb then?

Thanks.

An e.g. - "I'd rather play guitar than help you joint that chicken."

So it depends on the parties' perspective? ie. I have joint the skeleton rather than the bones of the skeleton are joint together?

Alright cool. If there is one thing I've learnt from this thread. This is it.

Huh? Then why are the synonyms of microsoft WORD =D referring to the likes of putting things together.

Ok nvm, turned out we are both right:

1. To combine or attach with a joint or joints: securely jointed the sides of the drawer.
2. To provide or construct with joints: joint a boom on a crane.
3. To separate (meat) at the joints.

I did miss out the -ed when I said hands joint(ed) to legs.

Well, there is a very friendly side to you which I appreciate. Thank you.

I'll leave it to ChanMin and the rest to discuss on my points of Gibson because I still owe the threadstarter that. I'll ignore any flaming.

Good night to you too pal.

It's ok PatheinRaindropMoe, thanks so much for staying neutral the whole time.

Hmm yea Fenderben I found the chat log and it is indeed adamqlw. I don't know if he remembered wrongly, or you're making up stories, but I've never told him my age, neither is there any snobbery in my chat with him because I was telling him that he has nice gear.

I'll post the chat log once I've asked for his permission, since the log belongs to both of us, and you can see for yourself. Heck, everyone can see for themselves.

I've come across this before - 3 sides to a story, mine, yours, and the truth. So let's see whose matches up with the truth and just leave it.

To set the record straight:

I DO NOT OWN 3 SOLOWAY SWANS.

I own 2.

Yes, I am Ben's primary school classmate.

Yes, I did add AlmondX to my MSN, I was impressed with his knowledge of gear at the time.

No, I'm not some hotshot guitarist who would make someone feel flattered if they talked to him. I'm an average joe who's somewhat surprised that his name has been thrown around, albeit very slightly, in this thread.

As someone who can say, with a degree of humility, that he own a couple of nice guitars, that he's completed fairly lengthy tertiary education, and that he knows quite a few Rafflesians, relatives and friends included, it's absolutely unnecessary and inappropriate to throw around your alma mater or your "knowledge" in a thread on the internet. If one does, one should be prepared to be called snobbish, and for good reason.

Lastly, and this is a personal opinion, anyone who talks so much shit about gear better be able to play guitar. Otherwise, amongst serious guitarist, they're a bit of a novelty. Sure you "know" a lot... but so what?

If a guy with a $200 guitar and beat up strings can make it sing better than you $6000USD setup, and I actually know and have met many, many, many people who can do that over the last 13 years of playing guitar (wow that's actually one more year than the average person spends from primary school to JC *rolls eyes*) then all that "knowledge" is worth, in practical terms, jack shit. If one needs to be "qualified" to make such a statement, then having owned and had the pleasure to play all manner of boutique gear over the years, especially while I was overseas, I consider myself qualified to make such a statement.

And since I know both ChanMin and Benster, I know that in a headcutting competition, they can both hold their own.

The beginner is always fascinated by how much he knows. And always uses the little that he does to try and impress other people. However, the experienced are always fascinated by how much they don't know. And are usually too busy learning to wave their genitals around trying to get some applause. I hope, being the subject of the "third" part of the story, my explanation sheds some light on "the truth".

PS: Paying a compliment to someone does not immediately mean that one does not come off as snobbish

PPS: There are those of us, few as you may believe there to be, who are astute enough, that armed with the following information, might be able to discern for themselves (despite it never being explicitly disclosed), your approximate age:

"haha anyway i've gtg.. i'm in the middle of my A levels"

Oh what the heck, since we're being pedantic and explicit, here's my two cents. The "proper" meaning of raving is

rav·ing

https://secure.reference.com/premium/login.html?rd=2&u=http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/raving/ˈreɪ

vɪŋ/
Pronunciation Key - Show Spelled Pronunciation[rey-ving]Pronunciation Key - Show IPA Pronunciation–adjective 1.talking wildly; delirious; frenzied: a raving maniac. 2.Informal. extraordinary or remarkable: a raving beauty. –adverb 3.furiously or wildly: a remark that made me raving mad. –noun 4.Usually, ravings. a.irrational, incoherent talk: Putting him in a straitjacket did not stop his ravings. b.wildly extravagant or outrageous talk; bombast.

Thus, one might reasonably be able to conclude, that one does not need to mention something in EVERY SINGLE POST in order for it to be raving.

Wah...stop reading this forum for 1 day got so many juicy stuff already!

Btw, I hate elitists too. They are society's snooty talk-big-zero-substance cowardly pompous arse who see things from their ivory tower.

then theres ALWAYS this ONE dude.. everybody just some how doesnt gel with.. eat recess alone.. do random things to get attention ...

Not random. Totally rational. Like buying a PRS and quoting an obscure name (Honestly, up until that day, I had never heard of JG Guitars) that makes guitars nicely to boost an ego.

There's a name for people like that:

Drummers!!!! Whahahaha... (sorry... just kidding. Couldn't resist)
