anyway, i rang up Adam, my primary school classmate who has a soloway swan (actually 3) and asked him if he knows an almondx.

he says he doesnt know anyone who goes by almondx, but recalls talking to a 16 year old with a ' slightly snobbish attitude towards gear' about his soloway swan & his primary school classmate.

well, if you are indeed that 16 year old, you have very good grammar and typing skills for your age. study hard, don't spend too much time here

Even gave me his blog so I could check out a few clips of his guitar. He also invited me to check out his swan once he returned to Singapore. Ahh guitar appreciation.

Hmm yea Fenderben I found the chat log and it is indeed adamqlw. I don't know if he remembered wrongly, or you're making up stories, but I've never told him my age, neither is there any snobbery in my chat with him because I was telling him that he has nice gear.

I'll post the chat log once I've asked for his permission, since the log belongs to both of us, and you can see for yourself. Heck, everyone can see for themselves.

Yes I can gauge how well a meepok/zhichar will taste by looking at it, just like others can tell the difference in tone by using different guitar cables. Nothing strange about it. Do it enough times and you'll eventually get the hang of it. Eg. You know how a meepok with excessive cabbage will suck etc. etc.
