Billie uses that guitar for it's simplicity ... a rockin guitar too!!
You can try a P90 or upz to P100 ....humbucker on that guitar is @#$$ move!

"Thanks for writing! The H-90 pickups are complete P-90 pickups that have an under-wound enamel wire coil stacked below the single coil of the P-90. This provides some hum cancellation without the pickup actually being technically considered a “single-coil”. The push/pull pots split the P-90 from the stacked coil to make it a true single coil P-90 pickup. Thanks for the inquiry, and I hope this helps!"
".... the P-100 has 2 coils of similar number of windings that also form a humbucker. I have heard that they are "muddier" sounding than a P-90 and I haven't been able to find one that can be coil tapped. The H-90 is coil tapped and can be a true single coil or have some humbucking qualities, with the lighter wound second coil, without getting into the muddy range."
