No matter how humble the guitar, NGD is always a very sweet day and this one was a great way to start the year. Bought my first-ever travel guitar yesterday, a Crafter TRV-23 in natural. Really sweet little guitar... Digging the arched back, too. Solid Sitka spruce top with mahogany back and sides. No electronics, but why would you want electronics in a travel guitar, anyway.

not a Les Paul fan but i do buy LPs- the ones i fancy, of course. was trying to prove (to myself) that maybe the 'lesser' Gibsons have something for me so this flat top, slab body, arguably boring LP Jr Special was it.

I have one of these as well. Its pretty well made and sounds brighter than my other les pauls.

I've been having gas for a telegib since late 2010, further intensified when the Seymour Duncan 35 came out in 2011.

But being the poor man I am, all I could do was stalk the Telegib @ Guitar77, and watch videos of the 35 online.

Until recently:

Great job Bro. Cool Telegib you got there.!
Did you put on Duncan's humbuckers there as well?
Just change the bridge to the stoptail and you are almost there.

Hey bro, Thanks!
A set of Duncan '59s are being shipped as of this post, now its a set of DragonFire Screamers (US$24 a set, wow!)
I didn't want the stop tail because there will be a lot of issues that I'll have to look into if I were to use it, (neck angle, string height difference because of radius on the bridge, drilling more holes to accommodate the tailpiece).
To me, this is maybe my own "version" of the telegib, not following the specs of Jeff and Seymour's telegibs. 3-ply pickguard, coil split, Alder body instead of Swamp Ash, etc.

My First ever gear post on soft for new stuff. Been aiming this since last year. Got this from the lovely BGW staff. Thumbs up for them.

On the first strum on this, naturally gives you a rock vibe (Think AC DC) ;-) . Awesome !
